Vice President, Exchange Traded Funds Basket Services

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Exchange Traded Funds Basket Services to join our Fund Accounting Team team. This role is located in Los Angeles, CA.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
• Provides oversight for multiple small teams or one large team of staff responsible for conducting Basket Services on behalf of assigned clients including Portfolio Composition File (PCF) preparation, Creation and Redemption order processing, Cash and in-kind settlement arrangements, Unit settlement arrangements, Authorized Participant (AP) inquiries, Continuous Net Settlement, Rebalancing processing, Collateral processing, and PnL calculations.
• Manages multiple teams.
• Manages relationships with assigned clients and resolves any escalated issues related to Basket production.
• Directs and sets priorities for processes that check for the completeness and accuracy of disclosure in financial statements. Provides guidance to teams managed to ensure that records are maintained in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Resolves escalated issues from team members.
• Evaluates rules to determine impact of new regulations on BNY's Basket Services practices. Provides guidance to teams on implementation of new policies to follow regulations.
• Directs the drafting of financial reports for clients to review fund performance. Communicates reports and intricacies to clients.
• Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
• Leads working relationships with auditors and clients to make changes to financial reports and ensure they accurately depict fund performance. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
• Manages multiple small teams or one large team of staff.
• Contributes to the achievement of team objectives
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 5-7 years of total work experience preferred; working knowledge of custody and fund accounting, particularly as it relates to Exchange Traded Funds is preferred and at

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $66,000 and $124,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
